Forgesy Absorbent Cotton Roll (500 gm) is designed for general medical, surgical, and personal hygiene use, but improper handling or application can occasionally present safety considerations. Because it consists of 100% pure absorbent cotton, it is highly absorbent and primarily comes into contact with the skin, wounds, or dressings.

Common/Minor Issues :

1. Skin irritation from trapped moisture: Mild skin chafing or maceration if a cotton pad is left taped against moist skin or minor abrasions for an extended period.

2. Surface lint transfer: Loose micro-fibers may occasionally transfer onto open wounds or sensitive skin if the cotton is torn or handled roughly prior to use.

When to Stop Use & Seek Medical Attention :

1. Signs of an allergic reaction or skin sensitization: Widespread rash, hives, intense itching, redness, or swelling where the cotton or associated tape/dressings were applied. Discontinue use immediately.

2. Signs of wound infection or delayed healing:

   • Increasing redness, warmth, swelling, pus formation, or persistent pain around a wound where the cotton roll was used as a dressing component. Stop use and consult a healthcare professional immediately if these occur.

3. Important Safety Note: Use clean, sterile handling techniques when applying cotton to open cuts, burns, or surgical sites.
